Case Study: Mullion Creek Primary School Mullion Creek Primary School reached out and were looking to add a sheltered area for their students between classrooms for added protection and also for an added sheltered area. They weren’t sure what they wanted exactly but they knew they needed a sheltered area. After going out and looking at the area and speaking with the staff we came up with the idea of adding a freestanding insulated Patio area to the existing slab area. This would give students plenty of sheltered space whilst also providing protection for the children going from classroom to classroom. Wavetek + Insulated roofing panels, PVC Pipes and Spanline guttering were used to achieve this. We also added Steel powder coated posts coated in Hi-Vis Yellow for safety. Despite it being installed over 20 years ago, he took the matter seriously, liaised directly with the Inspector, and within days I had an amended Building Report. His responsiveness, technical know-how, and genuine commitment to helping me were outstanding. We initially started with a local designer, which I regret. I wish we had engaged Spanline from the start. Their communication was excellent; they were willing to answer questions and assist with any enquiries. The builder was fantastic and highly skilled. They went above and beyond to help with the Occupation Certificate, especially since the original company wanted to charge just under $1000 to handle the application.
