Thanks Spanline ACT for making our "vision" from 6 years ago into a reality! My garden studio/sunroom was completed by Spanline recently in June 2026 after initial contact in January 2026. It took us awhile to get our plans into place because we were disappointed with other companies for not being helpful and we also lack the expert knowledge. Overall: Spanline made everything easy for us from start to finish. Everyone we encountered with Spanline are wonderful and have great customer service skills! We would like to acknowledge everyone involved in the project: Peter - was our "go-to" from start to finish. Peter showed us the showroom, did the visits, the planning, approvals and the blueprint. Peter goes above and beyond by being approachable/contactable if we have concerns by connecting us with the appropriate persons for the job. Peter explains technicalities in simpler terms which is extremely helpful for us being ESL and having no industry knowledge. Thanks for making everything easy for us Peter! Bede - did all the transport of the materials and rubbish, everything was handled with care. Bede just like the other Spanline guys is approachable and friendly. Sebastian - the project manager or the expert problem solver, there were issues but Sebastian always have a solution for everything. Thank you for being attentive to our questions and concerns. Janno - did most of the construction of the project, Janno has remarkable and professional handiwork. Janno listens to our concerns and questions. Janno is respectful by always checking with us first before doing the installations e.g location of windows or doors. There had been leaks in our sunroom, Janno has been coming over to assess and repair until we are leak-free. Aside from being highly competent and professional at the job, Janno is warm and friendly to our neighbors, our family and pets while working on-site. Thanks Janno! Claudia - thanks for the calls and for updating with what is happening with the projects. We will miss your warm and friendly voice!

So far I have just had a visit, assessment and quote from Scott Basman from Spanline, for alterations to my home. I found Scott very informative, attentive, and has plenty of ideas, and gives sound reasons for his recommendations. I would certainly invite his opinion and quote for quality work.

I meant to write this review a while ago, but life got busy. I really want to express my appreciation for Peter from Spanlife ACT. From the beginning, Peter was professional, attentive, and genuinely listened to what I needed for my outdoor project. He worked thoughtfully within my budget and made the whole planning process feel easy and stress‑free. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen financial circumstances, I had to cancel the project after paying my deposit. Even then, Peter remained understanding and respectful. He didn’t show any negativity or make me feel bad about the situation, which I truly appreciated. Based on my experience, I would not hesitate to use Spanlife ACT again in the future. We recently had Spanline install a fabulous glassroom to fill in a deck area that was under- utilised. The result was fantastic and we now have a terrific room addition that gets utilised all year round! I’m incredibly grateful to the Spanline design engineer (Pete) who helped provide engineering on a patio structure he didn’t install. Despite it being installed over 20 years ago, he took the matter seriously, liaised directly with the Inspector, and within days I had an amended Building Report. Scott from Spanline helped us to decide on the carport design that would best suite our needs. Scott is very knowledgeable, having had a lot of experience with designing carports and shelters that meet customer needs.

Good support, but hampered by distance (Spanline is based in Canberra, some 4 hrs away). This led to some delays due to Council approvals and travel times, and we had to source our own electrician. The design is great. There were some minor issues in the assembly, but Spanline promptly remedied these.

We recently had a pergola built with Spanline ACT - Pete was amazing through the build to answer our questions, give great advice and kept things moving. The build and service were both great. We are thrilled with our new pergola and it has given us so much more outdoor living space.

We have used Spanline for two renovations recently and couldn't be happier with the process, from Seb Godfrey coming out to measure and quote, to material selection and the build process. Where possible they sought to re-use existing materials and structures, offering different materials and options to really try and meet our budget and still get an amazing result. The workmanship is amazing and especially in the instance of our back deck it just linked the house and our yard together in a way our previous mod-wood deck (which was only two years old and had collapsed) simply could not. I cannot recommend Spanline highly enough. The initial quote may seem expensive but I can't reiterate the work quality, the dedication of the staff and the end product is absolutely worth it and I wish I had done it in the first place. I'm looking forward to working with them again in future for other renovations I'm planning.
