If you own an RV or Caravan, a Caravan Carport is essential

Carports for caravans and RVs are a great way to protect your investment and extend the life of your caravan or motorhome. By keeping it protected from the elements, you can avoid costly repairs and extend the life of your caravan. In addition, a motorhome carport can also be a safe and secure location when you’re not on the road.

Safeguard your investment with a caravan shade cover

Caravans are a wise investment due to their slower rate of depreciation compared to cars. Caravans depreciate at 10 to 15% per year while cars can depreciate at around 25 to 27% per year. You can also expect a better trade-in price for your caravan when you upgrade.

A well-maintained caravan retains its value and provides many years of enjoyment. Caravans, RVs and even boats need good care to retain their value. Caravan carports are the best way to protect your investment.

While a portable caravan shelter may offer temporary coverage for your van, it may not withstand the test of time. Maintain your caravan well and it can last 10+ years, providing a valuable asset when it’s time to sell. Therefore a sturdy and durable shelter such as a caravan carport should be your first consideration. It’s important to take into consideration your caravan carport roof height when upgrading your van or making your first motorhome investment. It would be better to build it right in the first place.

Don’t let the weather claim your caravan

When you take up caravanning in Australia, you need to be aware of the weather.

Caravans are not always built to withstand the extreme heat and cold that our country experiences. It’s important to take steps to protect your caravan from harsh weather. There are a few things you can do to protect your caravan from the weather.

Firstly, invest in a good quality caravan cover. This will help keep your caravan cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Also, if you have roller doors on your caravan carport, make sure you have adequate ventilation in your caravan. This will help to prevent mould and mildew from forming in your caravan.

A caravan garage or carport is the most effective way to protect your “home away from home” from the extremes of Australian weather.

Spanline’s Double-U® Roofing Systems are designed and built in Australia for Australian conditions. Our roofing panels have undergone rigorous testing and certification to withstand even the most extreme weather conditions, including cyclones. Our steel materials have also been fully tested and meet national accreditation standards for fire resistance under AS1530. We are proud that both our Double-U® and Slendek® roofing systems have received national accreditation for their cyclonic weather and fire resistance capabilities.

Extension of outdoor living area. The A-frame extension connects seamlessly to the existing house and extends the outdoor living area significantly. Ayden provided the original consult and worked with us throughout the build. Kirk our foundation builder was fantastic in every aspect. Thorough with great attention to detail and extremely respectful throughout the build. The build team and contractors were reliable and responsive. I have no hesitation in recommending Coffs Harbour Spanline. The addition to our home is amazing, it has turned a fairly wasted piece of backyard into an amazing functional outdoor living space.

The hail storm of October 20, 2021 was devastating. It destroyed and /or damaged plants, our outdoor setting and pitted the deck. When sumner came, we lived with a damaged deck that was too hot to use, as much of the canopy had also been damaged in the storms of that October and November.Enter Spanline...and our beautiful pergola - which, with fan, provides an outdoor area for day and night all year 'round. We've taken our time to enhance it with plants again and think the look is well worth it.With Spanline, our dreams became a reality and our back deck / pool area is our sanctuary.Nothing was too much trouble. The quote with Chris was a quick, easy process and was delivered to us within 48 hours. The trades were professional, efficient, courteous and clean. The team work made the dream work. We'd recommend Spanline to anyone who asked - and have since engaged them in a second project for the enhancement of our home. They are fantastic to work with!Anthony and Kim Dixon.

From the beginning of booking in Pete in Sales (who has a nothing is impossible attitude) and then discussing many design options, on to meeting Steve the owner/engineer and then to Mr Perfectionist Dane the builder and Kurt the apprentice, I have to say this was the most pleasurable experience Ive ever had with any additions that Ive made to homes over the years. They have a great team who provide a quality product, are polite, trustworthy, respectful and do what they say they will do.All the best to them
