• Work towards a Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication Trade (Light Fabrication)
• Monday to Friday role. Optional overtime on Saturdays

What you will be doing:

• Performing engineering measurements
• On-side building and construction
• Use workshop machines for basic operations (guillotine, slitter folder, brake press, iron worker, hydraulic punch, cropper, welding aluminium and carbon and stainless steel)
• Carry out mechanical cutting
• Apply principles of occupational health and safety in the work environment
• Fabrication and welding of metal projects
• Plant and equipment operator

About you

• A year 10-12 student or has recently graduated with an interest in hands-on work. 2nd, 3rd or 4th year apprentices are welcome to apply
• Are you reliable, committed & punctual?
• Are you professional and reliable?
• Are you strong with maths?
• Do you have an interest in either Engineering or Fabrication?
• Do you want to learn how to weld?
